Our Kids Ministry Standards

Background Checks:
First Church Knox is committed first and foremost to kids’ safety and well-being. We make sure all of our Kids Ministry volunteers and staff are Background Checked and wearing identifying badges. We only allow parents and Background Checked people to enter our Kids’ Loft.
2+ adult rule:
We require that all kids are supervised by two or more adults at all times.
Kids’ Check-In:
We digitally check in all kids for safety purposes. Our volunteers are happy to help you check your child in!

It is our heart to see kids grow in the love, wisdom, and peace of Jesus. We do this through interactive learning, outward service to our church and community, and leading other kids in Christ-oriented mission.

We utilize Orange curriculum on Sunday mornings (read more about Orange HERE) which aligns with our goal to cultivate an environment of safety, fun, and acceptance for all children.
Meet our Children’s Director
Bree Card is a wife and mom of 3 with a passion for ALL kids to grow up knowing they are deeply loved by Jesus. When Bree isn’t working on new, fun ideas for the kids of First Church Knox, she loves to spend time with her family, read, sing, and cuddle her Newfoundland dog Sully.
