Groups

If you are looking to connect with community you have come to the right place. We have several ministries and Bible study groups to help you find your passion and your people. Read more about our groups and complete the form below to get started.

  • Altar Guild

Our Altar Guild is made up of creative and talented First Church Knox members who arrange Altar flowers for worship on Sundays and special events like Christmas and Easter.

  • First Church Kids

The mission of the First Church Kids is to nurture children into a loving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that by teaching children their identity in Christ it will give them the Godly confidence to go through this life sharing his light with the world.

  • First Church Women

First Church Women is a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership, and transformation. This group celebrates an inclusive membership and welcomes all women who want to become members regardless of church affiliation.

  • Missions

Love for others is a hallmark trait of Christians. Our missions group serves as God’s hands and feet in this world through various service projects.

  • Music

If you love to sing our chancel choir is for you. We also have a hand bell choir affectionately called the Bell Buddies. Both groups meet Wednesday evenings.

  • Sewing Ministry

Our Sewing Ministry meets the second Tuesday of each month. They make dresses for girls in Haiti, blankets for the NICU and Susannah's House, quilts for Project Linus, and a variety of other projects throughout the year. Everyone is invited, and no sewing experience is necessary!

  • Sunday School

We have several small groups who meet before or after the Sunday service to discuss the word of God and its meaning in our lives.

  • Walking Ministry

Would you like to get some exercise while having conversations with fellow church members? Our walking group has stepped out and meets on Mondays. Our goal is simple – walk and share with others from our church community.
