We were so happy to greet our favorite preschoolers after Christmas break! They all grew up! The kiddos have settled right back into their routines and are busy learning about arctic animals, snow and winter weather… now if only Mother Nature would cooperate with our lesson plans! 😉
All parents are invited and encouraged to attend our next Let’s Connect Parent meeting on Tuesday, 1/21/20 from 5:30 – 7:00 in the Parish House. Hannah Kline, parenting coach and educator, will lead a discussion on “Creating Safe Spaces for Kids’ Big Feelings!” Childcare is provided. Please RSVP to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org

TUITION DUE TODAY, 1/15/20!
Please pay your January tuition ASAP in order to avoid a late fee of $20.00. Tuition may be paid via check (drop box on Library closet door on first floor) or via Venmo @CDCKnoxville. Late fees will be assessed on Friday, 1/17/20.
Unfortunately, we are beginning to see an increase in student illness. If your child is ill, PLEASE keep them home until they are well enough to return. To review our illness policy, please click here to access our parent handbook and scroll to page 16, appendix 2. For a quick reference, see below:
As some of you may remember, we were forced to close for two days last January because of excessive illness of our students and staff. It happened that those two days also corresponded with Knox County closing for illness. I want to assure you that we want to be at school with the children! Knox County closing for illness does not automatically mean we will also close! We will make our decision independently and based on teacher wellness and availability. If we are forced to close for any reason, we will communicate with families ASAP via social media, e-mail and teacher’s REMIND apps.
TUITION INCREASE FOR 2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR
You should have received an e-mail from our CDC@knoxvillefumc.org address yesterday explaining the reason behind a tuition increase that will take effect in August of 2020. If you did not receive that e-mail, please see the attached letter and tuition grid.
