United Methodist Women is a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership, and transformation.

A member is anyone who commits herself to the Purpose and chooses to belong.  United Methodist Women celebrates an inclusive membership and welcomes all women who want to become members regardless of church affiliation.

Our Mission is to work to build a supportive community among women; to be an advocate for the oppressed and dispossessed with special attention to the needs of women and children; and to engage in activities that foster growth in the Christian faith, mission education, and Christian social involvement throughout the organization.

Monthly Gatherings:  We currently have three circles which meet the second Tuesday 8 months during the year at 10:15 am.  Circles culminate with a general meeting at 11:30 am and lunch together at noon.  All of these groups welcome visitors and new members.

Helping Hands:  This circle prepares lunch for the UMW meetings, bakes and sells rolls and other items, and organizes the annual Holiday Helpings fundraiser.  During their mornings of cooking and camaraderie, there is a time for sharing and devotion.

Outreach:  This circle focuses on active involvement in outreach within local and area United Methodist mission projects and in contemporary expressions of faith.

Susanna Mindbenders:  This circle uses UMW resource materials and other books to enrich their lives spiritually and to help them better understand the many challenges offered by the needs of the world.

Members at Large are women who cannot attend circle meeting, but who wish to join UMW can be Members At Large, with all the privileges and responsibilities that go along with UMW membership.

Cookbooks are available for $15.00 through the church office any time of the year, just call 525-0435.
